Last night's London Evening Standard featured a story on Bell Pottinger Chairman Peter Bingle (pictured), who has been banned from London club Soho House for wearing a tie. The ban has been described as "Stalinist" by Mr Bingle, who has also labelled the whole affair as "Tiegate". The Edmonton Journal has run a feature story on the soaring popularity of ties amongst the fashion elite. Style icon Conor Pilz was spotted with his tie tucked into his shirt at an FC Edmonton football match. He describes this as a 'military tuck'!
